Birthday girl with dog

Birthday girls with dog

The image of this cute  little girls was coloured with copic markers, a medium that I am beginning to become addicted to. This is a Stampavieve stamp, and I have most of them.  They tug at  my heart strings.
What do you think?

I cannot tell you the markers that I use as I use them intuitively, not noticing the names or numbers of the markers.  I go with what works for me.
The paper is non SU, but  the ribbon is old olive satin ribbon.
The word stamp is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, punched out with the world window punch, and the modern label punch. - both of which will be retiring at the end of this month.

Happy birthday - a fishing card

This is a card I made as a special order for a lady whose son loves fishing.  He is always talking about  a log cabin, and she wanted the card to be 3D showcasing a fishing pole with a hook and fish on the end of the line.
The card was made using the recessed window frame tutorial on Split Coast Stampers (SCS), and I used the following materials:
Stamps: The following stamp scape stamps:  Lakeside cabin, Fisherman in a boat, Geese in flight, & Wading fisherman.
Inks: Distress inks:  Weathered Wood, Faded Jeans, Scattered Straw, Archival Black Ink, Versa Mark
Paper:   SU Very Vanilla as base card, designer paper unknown, embellishment unknown, chocolate chip (SU)
Other: Clear embossing powder, word finder punch, modern word finder punch, SU silver brads.
