Stonewash Technique - 3 cards

These cards were made using the Stonewash Technique - I made my own alcohol inks by adding re-inkers to rubbing alcohol.  These cards are the result.
This card uses the Upsy Daisy stamp.

This is my second favourite stamp set :  Inspired by Nature.

The Medallion stamp is meant to be a background stamp, but I like it as a stamp as well.

This swap resulted in some spectacular cards.  The entire card fronts were done in white.  Some of the people doing the cards found out for the first time that white comes in many shades.
This card was made by Dorothy Streets and is just full of different textures.  Just gorgeous!

Simple and elegant is how one would describe this card made by Kelly Polyak - embossing, vellum, and silk flowers.

Brenda Snider made this card - again a lot of texture.  That's the secret of working with a single colour I think.  Unfortunately I took the picture of this card sideways.  The flowers should be on the upper left corner.

Eileen M. created this gorgeous multilayered embossed card.  The flower in the center is absolutely gorgeous.  Love the ribbon.

This is a close up of the flower.  It also shows some of the detailing of the white embossing background.  Great job Eileen

This is an anniversary card that any couple would love to have.  The popped up doves just give the card a little bit of extra "umph".

Seed (and card) swap with ORSA

What a wonderful swap.  A card and a packet of seeds - arriving just in time to plant indoors so the resultant plants can be ready to go outside at the end of May.
This card was made by Lynne Ross.  Didn't she do a wonderful job with the colouring?

I love poppies. How did Dee Richardson know?  Wonderful corner punch.

This card was made by a member of Canada Stamps group - Betty Hayne.  Everyone needs a Herb garden, and Rosemary is a good plant to start with.
