Calla Lily

My friend was given a purple Calla Lily from her real estate lady when she bought a new houses and sold her old one.  The flower was beautiful, but didn't survive for very long in non-tropical temperatures.  The Calla Lily on this card will, however, last!

Stamp: Calla Lily
Inks: Memento ink (black), Copic markers
Papers: Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Flirtatious designer paper
Accessories: 1/8" white taffeta ribbon, Scallop trim corner punch, pearls

Thistle

This image I colored with Copic Markers while I was selling cards at the market.  Today I made this Thistle flower into a card.

Stamp: Thistle
Inks:  Black Memento, Copic Markers
Papers:Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Lavendar, Flirtatious designer paper
Accessories:  1/8" White taffeta ribbon, Pearls, Lace Ribbon border punch, Scallop trim corner punch

Iris Folded Blue Windmill

A friend of mine recently went to Holland to visit family - and had a marvelous time.  While there she did a bit of shopping, and picked up something for me.
I was tickled pink by not only the present - a Delft blue china Christmas ball- but also the wrapping paper.  Of course I had to use it to make an Iris Folded wind mill.

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Little Friends
Inks: Pacific Point, Basic Black
Papers: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Blue/white striped paper, Blue, white, black, yellow blotched paper, Solid blue paper, wrapping paper (delft blue)
Accessories: Corner rounder punch, dazzling diamonds (in center)

Hope you liked the card.

I am finding it a bit difficult making cards as I had surgery on my right foot on Fri. July 29 and have to stay in bed with my foot elevated for the next 2 weeks.  It takes me so much longer, but that obviously doesn't stop me.
