Alcohol Ink with Acetate Overlay

I've been making several cards using alcohol inks as the background.
For this card I used butterscotch, yellow and blue, with a pearl fixative - in a swirl pattern.
I then took a piece of clear acetate sized to fit the card, stamped the image with Stazon ink and adhered it to the alcohol ink  background.
Isn't the effect stunning?

Here's another card using the same colour combinations.  This time I daubed the applicator instead of swirling it.  Both images were stamped with Stazon ink.

I had some ink left on my applicator, so rather than waste it, I used a wide swath  application (if that's what you call it.  The leafless tree was a natural to stamp on this background.

Tomorrow I'll post some more alcohol ink projects.
